At WrestleMania 41, John Cena broke Ric Flair’s record by becoming world champion 17 times.It all happened on the main event of the second night of the Pro Wrestling Superbowl, held in Las Vegas in front of a crowd of 63,226.
A controversial finale, as Cody Rhodes, had performed a Cross Rhodes on his rival Cena, the referee made the count and got pulled outside the ring on the count of 2 by rapper Travis Scott.
Afterwards, there was a face-off between Scott and Rhodes and the latter gave him a Cross Rhodes. Cena went to hit Rhodes with the WWE Championship but Rhodes blocked it. Then Cena begged the champion not to hit him with the belt but in a surprise move, he gave Rhodes a Low Blow hit him with the title and made the fall for the 3 count and to become 17-time World Champion.
